i feel like all of these are rather obvious, but apparently it has not been obvious in other verses i've written in! anyway, if you fit any of this, i do not fuck with you!! get out of my house!!!  v.   as a victim of incest, i don’t feel comfortable shipping jaime & cersei   ( or jaime & any of his relatives, for that matter ).   i just won’t as a personal boundary. that said, i do enjoy writing jaime & cersei’s dynamic quite a bit, and so long as they’re not written in an exclusively romantic context, with all the nuance their relationship requires, i will be more than happy to write them!

  i.   in addition to having dyslexia, jaime also has attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder & autism spectrum disorder. like with his dyslexia, jaime was encouraged — rather aggressively — by his father to "fix" his autistic behaviors in specific. as a result of this, jaime has become very good at masking, but he still slips up from time to time.
  jaime's attention-deficit / hyperactivity disorder was a hinderance to him in his education, specifically in regards to mathematics. it was partially why he struggled with reading — he lacked the attention span to sit and read for long periods of time, especially as a child — which was only compounded by his dyslexia. in adulthood, the only times when his adhd had been particularly difficult for him to cope was in periods of time when he had to wait.
  both his autism and adhd had helped him in his swordplay, though. when he's able to move around, he's able to focus better, and his asd had caused swordplay to become special fixation of his,

which is why he had dedicated so much of his time to it.  ii.  jaime is sexually & romantically attracted to both men & women. he first remembers feeling attraction to another boy at the age of ten—the boy in question being his friend who, at the time, was a page at casterly rock, addam marbrand.
  because of the stigma against homosexuality in westerosi society, jaime has never expressed these feelings towards anyone, not even cersei. instead, he simply denies they exist altogether.        MORE TO BE ADDED!

        BIOGRAPHY
  jaime lannister is the second-born child and firstborn son of lady joanna lannister and her husband, ser tywin lannister. he was born shortly after his twin sister, cersei, while holding tight to her ankle — a small sign of the close relationship the twins would have throughout their lives.  in 105 AC, joanna gave birth to another boy, whom was named tyrion. shortly after tyrion's birth, he, joanna, tywin, jaime, and cersei all caught redspots, which resulted in the death of joanna and tywin.

  now orphaned, the three lannister children were taken in by their uncle, lord jason lannister, and sent to live with him at casterly rock. in truth, however, the children were predominantly raised by the maester & septa of the keep, and neglected by their uncle.  this neglect in childhood caused cersei & jaime to grow more dependent on one another. by the time they were fourteen, their relationship had developed from simple co-dependency, to a toxic, romantic & sexual affair.  jaime was taken as a squire for his uncle, ser tyland, when he was eleven. he was a dutiful squire, doing whatever it was that his uncle asked him swiftly and scarcely with any argument. he also had a natural talent for the sword, which earned him his knighthood when he was only fourteen.  in 113 AC, by some pull of invisible strings, king viserys i targaryen raised jaime to the kingsguard at only fifteen, making him the youngest in history to have the honor. cersei was wedded later that year. despite jaime being a knight of the kingsguard & cersei being a woman wed, their affair continued, and resulted in three children — joffrey, myrcella, and tommen — all of whom bare a striking resemblance to both cersei and jaime.  in 129 AC, after the death of king viserys and the coronation of aegon ii targaryen, jaime hadn't fully registered the usurpation at play, having been too caught up in the confusion of it all. however, jaime quickly came to his senses, and plotted an escape to dragonstone in order to join queen rhaenyra's cause. upon his arrival to dragonstone, jaime pledged his allegiance to rhaenyra, who later accepted him into her queensguard.  rather early on in the dance, jaime lost his right hand in battle. it was a harsh blow to his self-esteem, but he conceded to guard his queen as best he could, despite everything.
